Tasting Note
Zingy and zesty!  Great value wine, with loads of lemon/lime aromas and flavours, and an enticing scent of herbs and light smoke.  Lively acidity which makes it a great aperitif wine to whet the palate with juicy mouthfuls, or a good pick for light dishes and with enough body to provide contrast for cream based soups.

Made from 100 % Verdejo grapes from 60 year old vines planted in clayish soil within the terms of La Seca, a small location in the heart of the Denomination of Origen Rueda, Spain.

Vintage Release Wine – Good inventories left at the LCBO stores at  Rideau/King Edward and Bank/Walkley.

Tasting Note
Drink outside the box!!  Try Gruner,  if you like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc, then give this not so common Austrian grape a place at your table.  Impress your friends with your new European “find”.  It’s also affordable to boot!

It’s a lovely crisp light-bodied dry wine, with scents of apples and light minerals (you know, that smell of dusty hot stones – think sauna).  Flavours of citrus and yummy melon round out this wine.  It’s perfect on it’s own or with light appetizers or as the Austrians do, enjoy it with a Cheese Fondue après ski or skate.

A General List Wine, widely available at LCBO stores.
